Changes in 21st century

If I have the chance to make our world a better lining place, I would implement some changes which i think that would make the world better. The aim of this essay is to analyze and explain some ways to make a better world in 21st century.
Firstly, I would stop the wars in all the place and at the same time I would reduce the production of weapons which are used. All the people in the world would be lovely. This is the first change because every year, we have too many deaths from wars. As a result, there would be not hatred between tribes and people.
Moreover, more people die from an incurable disease. This is very plaintive because there are no treatments to cure all diseases. Surely, I would change that so there will be more medicines and treatments to prevent people to die from diseases.
Furthermore, I would make an ecological world. Firstly, I would made changes to the cars. For example, people not used petrol on the cars but, the used water. Also, anything which produces flue would be stopped and replaced by those which produce steam, which is more ecological than flue. With that change I would stop the ozone hole to grow.
In conclusion, these are the changes which i would like to make for a better world in 21st century. Obviously, there are more changes we can do, however, those mentioned above I think are more important in first…...

The Role of Social Media in Public Relations

...changed in the online world with the introduction of new media, in particular the explosion of social media. This has not only changed how people interact and communicate with each other, it has also had a massive effect on how consumers interact with organisations and businesses. With this in mind, public relations practitioners must now consider how to engage their audience whilst embracing social media as part of an integrated public relations strategy. The term “social media” commonly refers to online social networking sites and blogs and has been proclaimed as leading a universal change that allows instantaneous worldwide, connected communication (Weaver Lariscy et al., 2009, p.314). Where traditional public relations methods such as press releases and statements, can be viewed as being structured and more of a scripted and guarded approach (Anonymous, 2010, p.1), social media has the ability to facilitate a more open engagement method tailored for the target audience, which can be effectively implemented within a multi faceted approach to gain rapid momentum for the organisation as it grows and evolves. Ultimately social media can be the element of a public relations strategy that ‘cuts to the chase’ and delivers the desired messaging to the audience and engages by provided an opportunity for two-way communication and a forum for public opinion, both good and bad (Hudson, 2010, pp.210-1). Role of Social Media in Governance

...that it would be the duty of the media to bring this new concept to the attention of the society. To perform the monitoring duty as a mirror of the society, the media have been playing an important role in educating the people about the Information Act and good governance. The news and investigative reports on state performances require insightful information which might have been branded in the past by officials as “confidential”. Whether such classification of information was correct had rarely been questioned in the past. The disclosure of government information by the media not only turns the people into informed citizens while the whole society is shifting towards post-modernity, it also encourages the people to exercise their right to know, which is imperative when they are to make choices regarding their participation in political-socio-economic affairs. Accurate and sufficient information enables the people to better enjoy their freedom of speech, helping them make rational decisions and take the right course of action beneficial to them. On the other hand, the work of the media forces policy-makers and officials to be more prudent about their decisions and activities that affect the livelihood of the people and the development of the society as a whole. They need to prepare to be transparent, accountable and responsible for what they do since their activities may be brought to the attention of the public at any time by the media. In fact, corruption,......

Role of Social Media

...Faizan Ahmed Khan 15020568 Professor Erum Haider Pol 320 6 May 2014 How do social media shape the social movements in modern times? A comparative study of Ukraine Crimea crisis and Egyptian revolution for democracy! A social movement can look like and be called many things. Whatever their appearance or name, the goal of all social movements is presumably the same: a change for the better. If this is indeed the ultimate objective of a social movement, it is well worth considering how successfully a movement achieves that objective. In the past ten years, several social movements have grabbed the world’s attention for the change they promised. Deemed successful for achieving their goal of change, though not necessarily change for the better, further evaluations have been sparsely performed. However, in judging social movements, what happens is shaped to a greater degree by the media, specifically. We shall look at modern day Egypt and Ukraine in our analysis. The effect of social media—and the Internet more generally—in both sets of protests is undeniable yet also distracting. Like most historic events, these protests and revolutions were in part possible due to a new technology. Flipping through the pages of history we see that The Reformation in Europe was aided by the invention of the printing press; the revolutions of 1848 occurred in some respect thanks to the invention of the telegraph which transmitted news across Europe of one set of protests overnight; the age of......
