...Romans road and Four Spirit Laws was a method of sharing the Gospel in a more straight forward way. Just like the actual roads of Rome it was important for stability and expansion of information. The method consists of five parts and each part is supported by one verse from the book of romans. The first verse says “Everyone is a sinner” meaning it is ok to sin all humans will at some point. This doesn’t make sinning ok; it only means that it’s only natural too. The second verse says that “The price of sin is death” which means the penalty of sin is death. Christ paid the penalty for our sin. We all deserve death, which is the ultimate penalty for sin. Everyone will pay for his sin unless he comes to Christ, who has paid the price for our sin with His blood which is stated in the third verse as well. The fourth verse states that “We can receive salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ” which means if you put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and make Him the Master, the Boss of your life, you will live forever. God loves you and wants you to enjoy peace and life, today and eternally. God doesn't hate you, but he hates sin. He loved you before you were born. He knew you'd need a Savior and sent His only Son Jesus to die in your place. Christ, who was without sin became a sin sacrifice for you. The final stated that “salivation through Jesus brings us into a relationship with God makes us righteous in his eyes”. The advantage of these verses is that they...

...Eriesha Artis November 15, 2012 Research Methods For my research proposal I will show how: food advertisers exploit children in ways in which negatively effects their eating habits. I choose to do this topic because according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, obesity now affects 17% of all children and adolescents in the United States - triple the rate from just one generation ago. I feel like a big part of that 17% is influenced by food advertisers. When dealing with advertising one isn’t worried about how their advertisements may affect others, they are only worried about the best way to get the best profit and if exploiting children will help get them that profit, they are ok with that. I say food advertisers exploit children because the word exploit means, to make productive use of or to make use of meanly or unfairly for one's own advantage, according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Food advertisers unfairly make productive use to their own advantage. The theories I plan to use are framing and priming. Framing is related to the agenda-setting theory but expands the research by focusing on the core of the issues at hand rather than on a particular topic. The origin of framing theory is that the media pays attention to certain events and then places them within a field of meaning. Framing is an important topic because it can have a big influence on the audience it reaches. According to The Art of Framing Fairhurst & Sarr (1996) “framing consists......

...point out that poor communication can and does result in not only organization confusion and mismanagement but more importantly in patient injury and sometimes..." 3 Transfer of communication skills training from workshop to workplace: the impact of clinical supervision. Heaven C, Clegg J, Maguire P. 1 Source Cancer Research UK Psychological Medicine Group, Manchester, UK. cathy.heaven@christie-tr.nwest.nhs.uk 2 Abstract 1 OBJECTIVE: Recent studies have recognised that the communication skills learned in the training environment are not always transferred back into the clinical setting. This paper reports a study which investigated the potential of clinical supervision in enhancing the transfer process. 2 METHODS: A randomised controlled trial was conducted involving 61 clinical nurse specialists. All attended a 3-day communication skills training workshop. Twenty-nine were then randomised to 4 weeks of clinical supervision, aimed at facilitating transfer of newly acquired skills into practice. Assessments, using real and simulated patients, were carried out before the course, immediately after the supervision period and 3 months later. Interviews were rated objectively using the Medical Interview Aural Rating Scale (MIARS) to assess nurses' ability to use key skills, respond to patient cues and identify patient concerns. 3 RESULTS: Assessments with simulated patients showed that the training programme was extremely effective in......

Question #7: Research Under the size of the study I believe that a quantitative approach to the study was the best way to go. Surveying would be the best considering the about of children in a given area and also the fact that they are children, when they are meet with an unusual situation they may tend to act differently than they would have in the daily living, and also the parents may not have been comfortable have someone question or watching over their children for a research project. ...Another effective mechanism to gain access to complementary resources is the formation of strategic alliances. According to Silverman & Baum (2002) “strategic alliances are a competitive response to prevent others from gaining market share” (p. 798). The monies available to AT&T can be invested in a number of mechanisms. They can invest the money or a portion into mutual funds, government bonds and commodities. The sale and purchase of commodities is usually done through the issuance of future contracts on exchanges that standardize the quantity and minimum quality of the commodity being traded. Commodities can be utilized as a hedge against inflation. Additionally, investment in real estate instruments is another method of diversification. One method to ascertain the additional investment available to AT&T is capital asset pricing model (CAPM) and the fama-french three factor models. These approaches aid in the expected returns by various risk factors. In these models and their variations the expected return is affected by one or more than one of the risk factors named betas. In the estimation, betas are estimated utilizing ordinary least squares regression on available historical data. The expected return is obtained by the product of he estimated beta and associated risk premium. CAPM evaluates the expected return of a security or a portfolio. This analysis equals the rate on a risk-free security plus a risk premium. If this expected return does not at a......

...illustrate his take on the industrious, consumptive postmodern world. It was quite interesting to witness the methods Baker used to interrupt time for both his protagonist and his audience –of possible naysayers. The time spent on the infamous escalator forces Howie to explore many of his forgotten memories. Immediately, the thoughts flow through his mind as he approaches the escalator. “It would have been less cumbersome, in the account I am giving here of a specific lunch hour several years ago, to have pretended that the bag thought had come to me complete and ‘all at once’ at the foot of the up escalator, but the truth was that it was only the latest in a fairly long sequence of partially forgotten, inarticulable experiences, finally now reaching a point that I paid attention to it for the first time. (Baker, p. 9)” A simple lunchtime errands leads to the beginning of deep contemplation. Already, we see that his reflection doesn’t have to arise while he is absent from the commotion of his workday life. With a simple elevator ride, Baker is showing us that the workday life and one of the universal symbols of postmodern convenience, the "stapled CVS bag" that enables the memories. What seems like a dull lunchtime routine, is truly Howie’s ‘onion time’—a moment to peel away at the layers of his life. This shocking recognition is an example of the postmodernist method of bringing art back into the turmoil of daily life. Howie's participation in this modern-day industrial......

...METHODOLOGY This portion contains the research design, the subject of the study, the data collecting device, and the ways that the researchers did to derive up with the result. The researchers utilized a descriptive method of gathering data, meaning collecting data by way of using survey questionnaire and introduce them to the selected respondents. It was developed with the determination of describing the study, making the readers understand what the study is all about and on how it will be helpful to every student to be aware on the most prevalent activities that the UB students are engaged in during their Vacant Periods. The method used requires shorter time spent for data collection and processing. The cost entailed in studying only a part of the population is much lower compared with investigations involving the whole population. It allows a more accurate execution of descriptive procedures. Designed questionnaire surveys were disseminated to the Students of the University of Batangas five (5) from every College Departments, who were randomly selected, meaning selecting a sample by giving each sampling unit an equal chance of being drawn as sample. The respondents of the study were limited to fifty only coming from all College Departments of the said institution. The questionnaire was based on the specific objectives of the proposed study. In order to discuss the data gathered thoroughly the percentage of the responses was computed to interpret the data. And the......

...The Method: What we are doing is, we find website in niches that you have to choose and that are not mobile optimized (responsive)* yet. *This means that they do not have a mobile optimized version of their website, i.e. users with mobile devices will have a hard time browsing their website. We sell them mobile websites. But wait – do I need coding skills here? No, absolutely not. The trick is, that you have a really great pitch. Of course you can sell the mobile website whenever possible, for example if you go into a bar, just search their website and if it is not displayed in a nice way, go and talk to the owner and sell them a better site. But in this Tutorial we focus on E-Mailing them. So here comes the Step by Step Guide. . 1)  Take a sheet of Paper and write down the niches you would like to take, for example:
a. Restaurants
b. Bars
c. Hotels
d. SwimmingPools e. Dentists/Doctors f. Etc.
We are looking for STATIC sites here, best sites are sites that do not have dynamic content and complicated stuff like self-made booking systems etc. Take easy sites that only have static information like the above mentioned ones. . 2)  Now, as you got your first niche, we are looking for a first city, for example choose a Canadian City like Kingston (Ontario) or any other city in any country of the world. You should make a list with many cities here, too. And then use a. City1Niche1 b. City2Niche1 c. City3Niche1 d. City X Niche 1 e. City1Niche2......

...Method Design The design of the experiment is a non-experimental single sample design; this is because there is no independent variable. The experiment only contains two dependent variables, one dependent variable being the sex label and the other dependent variable being the gender pronouns. Participants The participants were all close friends or family of 1st year psychology students studying at Teesside University. In total there were six participants, four of which were female and 2 male. The age range of participants was 23-71 years old with a mean of 41.00. Each participant completed consent forms to adhere to The SSS&L ethics committee who approved this study. Materials The stimulus used in this experiment was a picture of a soft toy, participants were provided with a pen and paper to describe the toy. There where two questions used in the experiment to obtain gender bias results. Certain inanimate words where used within the first part of the study in order not to try and manipulate the participant’s way of thinking about gender of the soft toy. Procedure The researcher explained all procedures before experiment commenced. Participants were then presented with a picture of a soft toy, they were then asked to write 3 or 4 sentences describing the beginning of a story about the toy, using inanimate language. After completion of the short story, they were then asked a question of “State whether the animal is a boy or a girl?” The last question then...

...” There are three types of descriptive research methods including naturalistic observation, case studies, and survey. Naturalistic observation is based on the observation of everyday events. For instance, a scientist who is developing a theory about gender differences may want to spend some time in restaurants, bars, and shopping malls in order to determine which type of gender is most relevant. That scientist is conducting a descriptive research. “The biggest advantage of the naturalistic method of research is that researchers view participants in their natural environments (Hale, 2011).” This is more beneficial because subjects may respond differently under laboratory conditions when they know that they are in an experiment. Case study on the other hand offers in depth research of an individual or their group. These studies are usually carried out in rare or unusual cases and form the foundation for the development of a hypotheses. However, they are not use to study cause and effect. Finally the survey method involves different participants answering questions through interviews or questionnaires. “After participants answer the questions, researchers describe the responses given (Hale, 2011).” The survey should have unambiguous questions so that subjects may not give inaccurate answers in order to please the researcher. Care and thought should be placed with the formulation of the questions. I believe that the best method to use while conducting a descriptive research......

...Quint Amongan Hydro-power or water power is power derived from the energy of falling water and running water, which may be harnessed for useful purposes. Since ancient times, hydro-power has been used for irrigation and the operation of various mechanical devices, such as watermills, sawmills, textile mills, dock cranes, domestic lifts, power houses and paint making. Since the early 20th century, the term has been used almost exclusively in conjunction with the modern development of hydro-electric power, which allowed use of distant energy sources. Another method used to transmit energy is by using a trompe, which produces compressed air from falling water. Compressed air could then be piped to power other machinery at a distance from the waterfall. Hydro power is a renewable energy source. Water's power is manifested in hydrology, by the forces of water on the riverbed and banks of a river. When a river is in flood, it is at its most powerful, and moves the greatest amount of sediment. This higher force results in the removal of sediment and other material from the riverbed and banks of the river, locally causing erosion, transport and, with lower flow, sedimentation downstream. Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbine A turbine, from the Greek is a rotary mechanical device that extracts energy from a fluid flow and converts it into useful work. A turbine is a turbo machine with at least one moving part called a rotor assembly, which is a shaft or drum with blades...

...disagree with us, and especially they do not provide any specific point. Conveying message is one of main reasons to communicate with people. When we assigned all the work in the meeting, but some Ben still mistook the chapters he should do. As a result, conflict occurred and people started to point fingers at the others. There is no doubt communication is a key implement in a group. Recommendations I believe that it is one of the best methods to sharpen people’s skill by reviewing and analyzing cases we experienced. I have learned many lessons from working in this group. Understanding personality is necessary when work in a group. If people understand each other, then there will be less conflict in a group. Effective communication is important as well to lead the team to achieve the goal. If I was in the same group project and exactly same people again, I would deal with argument actively. For example, I will send E-email clearly and write as detail as I can. Besides, asking people to reply E-mail to confirm will be a good method to conduct communication. I anticipate in the future no matter whom am I working with, I will have different problems. The way I believe in is to keep myself rational and always ask if I have any questions....

...validate the authors’ assumptions. Wang et al. [11] and Iskandar et al. [12] use higherlevel properties of lyrical structure to improve the automatic alignment of recordings with corresponding lyrics. Lee and Cremer [13] take a similar approach to match high-level segments of lyrics to corresponding segments in a recording. Recent work in the music information retrieval community has also applied lyric analysis to problems in topic detection [14], music database browsing [15], genre classification [16], style identification [17], and emotion estimation [18]. This work motivates the present study and suggests the breadth of applications that will benefit from a deeper, quantitative understanding of the relationship between lyrics and melody. 3. METHODS 3.1 Data Sources and Preprocessing Our database consisted of 679 popular music lead sheets in MusicXML format. 229 of our lead sheets came from a private collection; the remaining 450 came from Wikifonia.org, an online lead sheet repository. Our data spans a variety of popular genres, including pop, rock, R&B, country, Latin, and jazz, with a small sampling of folk music. Each lead sheet in our database contains a melody, lyrics, and chords for a single song (chords were not used in the present analysis). Lyrics are bound to individual notes; i.e., no alignment step was necessary to assign lyrics to their corresponding notes. Word boundaries were provided in the MusicXML data so it was possible to determine which syllables were......
