Within each outline you must include the following information: * The lesson introduction * The transitions and illustrations you will use * The lesson conclusion * Bibliography with the cited scholarly sources in Turabian format Once you have received feedback from your classmates (which takes place in Discussion Board Forum 5), finish your Lessons Outlines and submit them in one document within Module/Week 5.  The Rubric details how you will be graded.  Consult the Scholarly vs. Popular Sources document to......

Presentation Outline: Leadership and Organizational Theory: the Heart of the Matter

...Presentation Outline: Leadership and Organizational Theory: the heart of the matter * Introduction Paragraph * This article discusses concepts of leadership and organizational theory. * It begins with a statement “Leadership is much more of an art, a belief, a condition of the heart, than a set of things to do. The visible signs of artful leadership are expressed, ultimately in its practice.” This statement mirrors our study of emotional intelligence. * The article identifies essential leadership theories and their impact on organizational dynamics. * Introduction of Leadership Theory Impact of Leader-Follower Relationships * Leadership theory and application revolve around two major ingredients: leadership and followership. The Outline

...The Outline Assignment Explanation: Before attempting to write a first draft, students should always create as detailed an outline as possible. This means you will have to think through your entire paper before you begin to write it. This is imperative given the required length of the Research Paper. Six to ten pages is not something you should try to intuitively write. If you try to “wing it” you will take much longer than you need to write the paper, and you will find it hard to keep on track. Your paper will feel disorganized and you will inevitably include irrelevant information. Here is the easiest pattern I can suggest for your papers: 1. You will need an introduction that introduces your topic, provides relevant background on your topic, and then transitions to your thesis statement. Your thesis should be a two-fold thesis statement. 2. In APA style, it is common to divide a research paper into different sections. These sections can be the arguments you make to prove your thesis. In English 101, you wrote five paragraph essays: an Introduction, three Body Paragraphs, and a Conclusion. The pattern was to have a thesis for which you made three arguments. Each argument was one of the three paragraphs. For English 102, simply take that pattern and expand it. What does that mean? If you have three main arguments to prove your thesis, each argument should be a section of the paper. The pattern is as follows: I. Introduction II. Section I ......

...an outline naturally organizes the information in a highly structured, logical manner, forming a skeleton of the textbook chapter or lecture subject that serves as an excellent study guide when preparing for tests. This method of note taking is extremely useful in most instances; however, in classes, such as math or chemistry, where a lot of formulas, graphs, or structures must be drawn, the outline method should be replaced with a better note-taking system. How to Use Write points in an organized manner based on space indentation. Place major points farthest to the left. Indent each more specific point farther to the right (level of importance is indicated by distance away from left margin). Advantages The outlining method emphasizes content as well as relationships between the material. Also, it reduces the time needed for editing and allows for easy reviewing. Disadvantages This method requires more thought for accurate, understandable organization and, therefore, cannot be used during lectures that move too quickly. Example How to study from an outline:    I. Read through one line at a time          A. Explain the information and connect the idea to others presented    II. Check the accuracy of the information    III. Add clue words          A. Jot down keywords or details that you didn’t originally include in the outline          B. Use these keywords to jog your memory when studying from the outline    IV. Recite information from the outline......

...Forces Organizations use committees and task forces to bring people together from different parts of the organization to work on common problems. While committees operate with a continuous purpose, task forces are usually temporary (Lombardi & Schermerhorn, 2007). A good leader needs to be chosen. One who can get along with other team members and respect their opinions. The members who are selected for the committees and task forces should work well together and be challenged by their assignment. Cross Functional Teams Cross functional teams are teams from different organizational units. Members have different skill levels and experience but they come together to accomplish the tasks. Cross functional teams come together to solve problems that impact multiple parts of the organization, accomplish tasks that require a depth of knowledge, and improve work processes that cross organizational lines. Employee-Involvement Team The main focus of the employee-involvement team is continuous improvement in the organization. Employees want to feel that they are part of the decision making process. This group meets regularly to discuss problems and come up with solutions to the problems. Ineffective Techniques Communication becomes ineffective when the information is not understood by the receiver. Communicating when angry is ineffective. Organizational Politics, It's Moderators and Impact on Work Attitudes, Work Outcomes and at large on the Organization. 1. Introduction: Organizational politics fulfills the self-serving interests of the employees sometimes even at the cost of organizational performance. The literature review looks at the different aspects and impacts of the organizational politics. The company politics decreases the first-rate management, good quality schedules, and good spirits or morale. These things are directly and positively related to some other things too, hence when these (the above-mentioned) things are adversely affected; they also impact good communication, quality of individual performance, technical success and eventually commercial success. Another interesting finding of which the managers need to be well aware of is that politics can emerge due to the increase in the commercial success and hence more commercial success leads to more politics, which (politics) in turn through different routes reduces the commercial success and therefore the decrease in the commercial success causes lower politics. (Voyer, 1994) The organizational......
