Generally eating food is one of the actions that everyone enjoys it. As a matter of fact, eating a prepared food like in restaurants has its particular joy. But, in my opinion, I like more making food myself at home and then doing relevant ceremonies before eating food because of below mentioned reasons.

First of all, one of the major points in eating food is, knowing about the ingredients. I mean that as fresh and as good quality material we use in food it would be more useful. For example, when I want to prepare rice at home, obviously I would use the best quality. Or making fried potatoes in good oil would be more delicious for me. So, being informed about the material of the food which you are making at home could be one of the advantages of my opinion.

Besides, we have to try to enjoy a work which we are doing. To put it simple, imagine you are going to prepare a food. So, in this case preparing all required materials during the process like buying the materials, cutting, boiling and so more would probably make you to enjoy. Finally, the most exciting moment is that you are going to wait to see the result. Thus, making food at home could have fun apart from what you are making.

At last, I would like to say that home-cooked food will be definitely much healthier than any outside food. Even if you get the food from any of the top-notch five star restaurant also, it cannot be healthier than home food.

In the conclusion, although sometimes eating in restaurants could not been neglected but by considering all above mentioned items having relax environment, fun during making food and knowing about the material of the food, I prefer to prepare and eat food at home rather than eating in…...

...citizens. He believed that the knowledge needed to make educated decisions was not easily accessible to the public, and even if it was, the general public was neither interested nor involved in the political process to give a strong opinion. Lippmann portrayed a government that was out of sight, reach, and therefore mind. Since the government may seem hidden or concealed, many fail to see the steps or processes that are involved in policy making. In turn, not being able to fully observe the governmental system would discourage citizens from believing that they are able to have any significant impact as an individual. The idea of not being able to witness or influence an issue in politics will consequently lead to the entire issue being tossed out as something pertinent to an individual, and he or she will not process the idea any further. Even if a person was interested in policy and sought out political truths, Lippmann believed that most citizens were incompetent and that it would be more logical to leave the important decisions not up to an average citizen, but instead an elected official or expert. John Dewey was a Philosopher, Psychologist, and subsequently a teacher. He believed that the lack of success or progress of the public opinion was not due to the incompetence of the citizens, but instead the lack of resources that were provided to the public. John Dewey, being the positive and hopeful person that he was, believed in the possibly of reform, through better......

Eat at My Restaurant - Cash Flow

...Consequently, understanding a company’s cash inflows and cash outflows is critical for investors. The statement of cash flows provides a revealing examination of these flows, i.e. how a company makes and spends their cash. Furthermore, the cash flow ratios that can be computed from the statement of cash flow can be very telling. The case study entitled, “Eat at M Restaurant - Cash Flow” analyzes several cash flow ratios of three restaurant companies. The statement of cash flows classifies cash receipts and cash payments into operating, investing, and financing activities. However, with consideration to the long-term profitability of a company, the net cash provided by operating activities may be the most significant. Essentially, it is the amount of cash generated by the company from its main operations. These funds not only fund the business, but also keep the company alive when times are tough in the investing and financing world. Therefore, from an investor’s standpoint, it is imperative that cash flow from operations represents a substantial portion of a company’s profits or net income. The first restaurant company examined, Yum Brands, Inc., experienced a sharp decline in their operating cash flow/current maturities of long-term debt and current notes payable. This ratio indicates a firm’s ability to meet the current maturities of debt. The higher the ratio, the better the firm’s ability is to meet current maturities of debt (Gibson, 2013). However, Yum......

Eating at Home or at Restaurants

...Eating at Home or at Restaurants All the people in the world like food, and they always eat every day such as, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everybody has special or different ways to eat or prepare food, and the favorite place to eat food. Some people prefer to eat at restaurants, other people prefer to prepare and eat food at home. I prefer to eat at home for two reasons that are the health and comfortable. First, I often prepare the food and eat at home because eating at home is healthier than eating at restaurants. When you cook or prepare a meal in your home, you can add some great value at your meal. For example, you can make a special meal by choosing healthy food that includes Vitamins and Carbohydrates. I mean, you can control and choose what kind of food you like to eat. On the other hand, eating at restaurants is not healthy because the restaurants are not responsible for your health, and they don’t care about your health. For example, eating food at restaurants has high fat and bacteria. Second, when you eat at your home, you feel comfortable. You can do anything as you like. For example, when I decide to eat at your home; you can eat lying or standing. On the other hand, at restaurants you can’t feel comfortable because everybody watches you, and you can’t speak or laugh loudly because it is public space. In sum, I think every person from every country or city has a different way to eat food. I often enjoy preparing and cooking food, so I like to eat at......

...phones or even IPods. Sam and John are students at Flagship University who violated some basic principles of academic integrity in different ways. What should be the response for those students? Should they get the same response from their instructor according to the way they violated the rules? What are the punishments they should get upon this attitude? First of all, Sam is a first year student, he did well in high school and he expected to do the same in college, but when he started to write his projects and essays he was overwhelmed at the amount of work to complete. So using the same techniques he used at high school he started to browse the internet and go to library to take notes from books, but he forgot to write about from where did he took the information, so he tried his best to remember and write them and finally he submitted his papers. After two weeks he received a note from his professor saying that he was charged for an academic dishonesty. In my opinion, the institution should have responded to Sam describing what happened and why he was charged with academic dishonesty because I think he did not really meant to violate the rules by cheating or copying someone’s work as his work, he was just doing what he was taught at his school. In the other hand, Sam should have pay attention to his professor because he must have said that he should put some references in his paper. And I think Sam and the professor should talk and discuss what happened because after......

Restaurant Observation Essay

...Restaurant Observation Essay When given the task of finding a restaurant that has an open kitchen a restaurant that comes to my mind was the Harut’s restaurant. I want to write about the exterior of the restaurant, dining area, and kitchen stuff and area. The exterior of the restaurant was not good .The restaurant located behind a gas station. The smell of the gas was terrible. The parking lot littered with trash and most of it seemed to be wrappers from the Subway in the next door. In addition, there was a burrito wrapper from Harut’s and drink napkins from the bar. The parking lot was well lit with no bulbs out of commission. The landscaping left much to be desired. At first glance, this particular Harut’s has no curbside appeal. The parking lot leads right onto the sidewalk. The signage was appropriate in the fact that is has the name of the restaurant on it, but not appropriate in the fact that it’s too high and the first time I went there I didn’t even know where I was going. The signage was also very hazy. Dining area was also bad. Upon entrance of the restaurant, I noticed that the garbage was overflowing. The floor of the established was dirty. The area where their “condiments” are stores was disgustingly un-kept. It was a four-tray temperature storage unit. It contained vegetables, green and red salsa and some more. Contents from each tray were cross contaminating the other trays because in order to get the desired condiment you have to......

Eat at My Restaurant

... Eat at my Restaurant Kiersten Galuszka Colorado State University-Global Campus The statement of cash flows is regarded as one of the most important financial statements in regards to determining the liquidity of a company. Cash is how a business pays its bills and operates its business. Lenders and shareholders look to the statement of cash flows to understand how well a company manages its cash and cash equivalents. The statement of cash flows “classifies cash receipts and cash payments into operating, investing, and financing activities.” (Gibson, 2013). Financial ratios have been created in order to compare cash flows to other variables in the statement of cash flows. The cash flow statement can also be utilized to compare the liquidity and profitability of different companies. Net cash provided by operating activities is a calculation derived from the inflows and outflows of cash in the operating section of the statement of cash flows. The operating activities include the effects from cash transactions and other situations that affect net income. Examples of operating cash inflows are money received from interest, sales on goods and services, and return on equity. Cash outflows include payments to employees, taxes, and payments of interest expense. The operating activities section is presented using either the direct or indirect method. In the indirect method, the statement of cash flows begins with the net income or loss for the period. Additions, such as cash......

Some People Like to Eat in Restaurants and at Foodstands, Others Like to Eat at Home. Which Do You Prefer? Give Reasons and Examples to Support Your Choice.

...party at a restaurant are all things we enjoy doing. Even so, there are few people who eat out all the time and eating at home has many points in its favor. It is cheaper to eat at home. It is healthier to eat at home and it is usually much more comfortable. For me, there is no doubt that I prefer eating at home. Firstly, eating at home is much less expensive than eating in a restaurant. Obviously, when we eat at home we do the preparation, cooking and serving of the food ourselves and, therefore, do not need to pay the labor costs of cook, waiter and other restaurant staff. Similarly, we have no other overheads to pay for such as restaurant rent and high utility bills. A further cost saving is that we shop for the ingredients of our home-cooked meals ourselves and can choose those which are cheaper in price. Secondly, eating at home is much better for our health and general wellbeing than dining outside. At home, when cooking for ourselves, we can ensure that what goes into our meals is not bad for us. We can control the amount of oil we use. We can control the amount of salt we use and we can balance our diet to suit our own individual needs. When we eat at a restaurant, none of these things are possible. At home we can also cook just enough food to satisfy us. In a restaurant we are often given too much or too little food on our plate. Finally, eating at home is much more comfortable than having dinner or lunch in a public place. At home, we can be......

Smoking Opinion Essay

...thousands of dollars in cigarette purchases alone every year. That is just the tip of the iceberg when factoring just what the real cost of smoking can be. Some of the more hidden costs of smoking can be found in the costs of health care and life insurance premiums. Not only are premiums higher than average for tobacco users, but having a weak immune system increases the frequency of doctor’s visits and the cost of sub sequential medical prescriptions. Smoking also is a fire hazard. A person might not ever consider the fire risk they expose their homes to on a daily basis. One unattended or near extinguished cigarette can potentially send a person’s home, car, or work up in flames. Even with insurance, some family heirlooms are irreplaceable, not to mention the ultimate loss of a life. Lastly, cigarette smoke leaves behind quite a powerful and penetrating odor. Most people have experienced walking into a house or a room of somebody’s home who smokes and noticed the pungent odor of cigarette smoke. The smell will linger for an extremely long time, and can be noticed in furniture, clothing, carpets, rugs, curtains, and anything else in the room. The smoke has a similar effect on the users clothing, hair, and skin. Also, besides the unpleasant smell associated with smoking, the smoke causes staining on the user’s hands and teeth. This unpleasant side effect can give a person an unfair stigma of being unhygienic. The smoke will also cause yellowing stains on the walls of the......

Opinion Essay

...security environment of the society is one of the reasons why some countries or cities have high crime rates. In some cities or areas, the security is so weak and backwards. When a criminal happens, the police take a lot of time to respond and survey the crime scene; sometimes they might not be able to find the criminal. For example, a student would only cheat on an exam in a classroom in which the teacher is not severe. So if they security of society is high level, people will not want to commit crimes because they will most likely be caught by the police. Lastly, the people’s quality of education is the third reason why some counties have more crime. For instance, Muslims do not eat pork and of course they would not try. Why? Because the teachings in their culture show that they can’t eat pork and it is a aggravated behavior. For the same reason, if a people have a good education and clear ideas about crime since childhood, they will know what behavior is wrong and what will hurt other people. With this knowledge, they will not do commit crimes, despite the fact that they are poor and have no money. That’s also the reason why many countries would invest a lot of money in a their education because education is really important to people’s concepts and development. In conclusion, the economic environment of areas, the security environment of the society, and the people’s quality of education are the three main reasons why some countries or cities are higher. If we......

Opinion Essay

...Opinion The Problem of Exotic Pets Published: July 13, 2003 Over the past few months we've had several unfortunate reminders of the biological common ground we share with other species. The SARS virus probably crossed over from animals to humans in Guangdong Province in China. Humans got monkeypox from pet prairie dogs, which probably caught it, in turn, from an imported Gambian rat. Meanwhile, at the movies, there is ''28 Days Later,'' a horror film about a ''rage'' virus that passes swiftly and catastrophically from chimpanzees to humans. We can probably discount the dangers of a fast-acting horror-movie virus, but not the others. If nothing else, the emergence of SARS and the recent outbreak of monkeypox in the United States are reminders that the potential biological effects of globalization can be chilling. Ordinarily, prairie dogs, native to America, do not catch diseases from rats native to western and central Africa. And humans do not ordinarily catch diseases from prairie dogs. What made the chain of monkeypox infection possible were humans who keep wild animals -- prairie dogs and Gambian rats -- as pets. Although the federal government has now banned the distribution of prairie dogs and the importation of rodents from Africa, the monkeypox scare demonstrates how poorly regulated the ownership of and traffic in wild or exotic pets really are. A dozen states and some localities outlaw owning dangerous animals, and the federal government, as a signatory to the......
