O La La Case

...O la la 1. Company background O la la is a pastry shop which started to work in 2011. Company’s name came from the French phrase “O la la” which means surprise, disappointment, commiseration, distress, annoyance... any moderately strong reaction to something that was just said or done. Their company is too young in the Macedonian market. They have small shop in City Trade Centre in Skopje and have about ten employees. Their target audiences are the kids and women and for that their signature colors are the pink and white. They decorate their store in old fashion style to give their customer place where they can feel comfortable. Place like a new, cozy spot for intimate conversations enveloped in the aroma of freshly baked pastries and sweets. O la la’s trademark is the preparation of delicacies in front of its visitors. Their goal is to show that there is nothing secret with their customers. O la la’s slogan is “The true cookies” because they used natural ingredients for their cookies, not artificial. They promote their company through online media (their Facebook fan page and their website) and they use the old best model of promoting the word of mouth. Also, in every 60 days they promote new cookies or cake to attract customers to go in their store to try it and promotion materials like: mini menus, business cards, vouchers, etc. O la la also offers you to organize your wedding, formal and birthday cakes and pastries and also they organize the slightly part of the......

...A recap of the events building up to The Real Estate Bubble, the causing factors of The Financial Crisis of 2008 and the likelihood and implications of an Economic Recession in 2016 Karan Sharat Nath Pace University, Lubin School of Business Kn31474n@pace.edu ------------------------------------------------- Table of Contents 1. Abstract 2. Introduction 3. The Real Estate Bubble and Great Recession 4. Signs that point towards a Global Economic Downturn 5. Conclusion: Consequences of a recession in 2016 6. Work Citied ------------------------------------------------- Abstract This research paper aims to briefly recap the events that led to the real estate bubble and global financial crisis of 2008, collect data that could indicate a financial downturn that could lead to a recession that is sparked in 2016 and understand the implications that a recession in 2016 would have upon the Global Financial System. The recession that ensued in 2008/2009 was the worst widespread downturn witnessed since the Great Depression of the 1920’s and 1930’s. Since the peak of the downturn the S&P has almost doubled and unemployment has dropped by nearly half. But at present many vital indicators that monitor US growth and economic activity are displaying so very troubling signs. With the majority of this growth over the last decade being enabled by central bank support and cheap money, expansion is not sustainable. Eventually......

La Comunicacion Literaria

...1/26/2016 La comunicación literaria: • Conceptos: i.

Educ 105 (2016)

...operational’ stage of his cognitive developmental theory. Cognitive structures are deemed to be flexible and adaptive. Increasing understanding and adaption to the environment and world around us is a major part of the cognitive development. Through the process of equilibration, cognitive development materialises as humans assimilate new information about the world into existing cognitive structures or accommodate their cognitive structures to take the new information into account (Bringuier, 1980). Piaget believes the concrete operational stage of cognitive development is when children begin thinking with a greater amount of logic and organisation. The way in which we organise our thoughts, is what Piaget called ‘Schemas’ (Duchesne & McMaugh, 2016). During this concrete stage, physical objects, not conceptual ideas, are the thought processes making up the schema (Rathus, 2008). This would make the integration of the outdoor classroom very beneficial for the practical minded children in Ann’s class. During the concrete operational stage the child experience diminished egocentric thoughts (Huitt,Hummel, 2003) making for meaningful cooperative learning. Piaget believed that children begin to understand other people’s beliefs and opinions, which ties in nicely with cooperative learning and Vrygotsky’s theories of scaffolding and the zone of proximal development.  Cantu & Herron (1978) state that insects and plants are examples of concrete concepts with defining......
