It is also very vital to have sufficient and adequate human resources in terms of teacher quality for the teaching of all subjects in the school curriculum. Without the teachers as implementing factors, the goals of education can never be achieved. In order to achieve a just and egalitarian society as spelt out in the Nigerian National Policy of Education (1981), schools should be properly and uniformly equipped to promote sound and effective teaching. Suitable textbooks, qualified teachers, libraries which are adequate should also be provided for schools. Scarcity of these, according to Coombs (1970), will constraint educational system from responding more fully to new demands. Factors That Influence or Affect Helping

...charitable donation did not affect my feelings about the behavior. My empathic concern motivated me to help the families in need. Because the goal of empathic concern is to enhance the welfare of someone else, it provides an altruistic motive for helping (Taylor, Peplau, Sears, 2006). Bystander intervention is the technical term for helping a stranger in distress. Research shows that situational factors affect this type of helping. People are less likely to intervene when others are present. There are several explanations for this bystander effect, including a diffusion of responsibility, the influence of other people on how an individual interprets the situation, and evaluation of apprehension (Taylor, Peplau, Sears, 2006). Many factors influence people's willingness to help, including the ambiguity of the situation. In ambiguous situations, it is unclear that there is an emergency. Also, people are less likely to help in unfamiliar environments than in familiar ones (e.g., when they are in strange cities rather than in their hometowns). People are much more likely to help others they judge to be innocent victims than those they believe have brought their prob¬lems on themselves. Thus, they may fail to lend assistance to homeless people and drug addicts whom they feel "deserve what they get." Perceived cost, similarity, mood, gender, and the social norm of "doing your part" in helping a worthy cause are also factors that can influence or affect helping......

Factors That Affect Communication

...Gather Information on the Factors that Affect the Communication Process CO2520 Communication Professor: Ms Callender Communication is a learned skill. However, while most people are born with the physical ability to talk, not all can communicate well unless they make special efforts to develop and refine this skill further. Communication has been defined as the act of giving, receiving or exchanging information, ideas and opinions so that the message is completely understood by both parties. In a communication process, there must be a sender who speaks or sends a message, and a receiver who listens or receives the message. The sender sends a message with a certain intention in mind. The receiver of the message tries to understand and interpret the message sent. He then gives feedback to the original sender, who in turn interprets the feedback. there are several major elements in the communication process- a sender, message, channel, receiver, feedback, context. A message is only considered successfully communicated when both the sender and the receiver perceive and understand it in the same way. If this does not happen, then there may be a breakdown in communication, which may ultimately stand in the way of you realising your goals, either personally or professionally. Factors Affecting Communication Process: Effective communication is a two-way process but there are a number of factors which may disrupt this process and affect the overall......

Enviromental Factor as It Affect Business

...individuals (Ohanemu, 2006). Business organizations anywhere in the world operates within environments which according to Adidu & Olanye (2006) is an aggregate of all conditions, events, circumstances and influences that surround and effect the business organization. In management, the term “Environment” does not necessarily mean physical surroundings but, it is used as a total forces, factors and influences that surround and affect business organizations as a separate entity as well as other business organizations. This means that business organizations must interact with those forces that influence its decisions, directions, actions, size, health, profitability and performance of the organization as a whole. Ukaegbu (2004) stated that the contemporary environment is becoming dynamic and competitive and since business organizations do not operate in vacuum, they affect and are affected by environment conditions. Therefore, business organizations irrespective of their objectives must take into consideration, these environmental opportunities and constraints. Businesses affect the environment by providing the required goods and services thereby contributing to the development of the business by presenting opportunities and threats. One thing to be emphasized at this point is that, the extent to which managers could identify, evaluate and react to the environmental forces will have considerable impact on organizational performances. Kuye, (2004), emphasized that the...

Factors That Affect the Rate of Decomposition

...Factors the affect the rate of decomposition pH of soil The pH of the soil can affect the rate of decomposition as it directly affects the type and activity of the bacteria, fungi and other micro-organisms decomposing material. A highly acidic soil (0-7 pH) or highly alkaline soils (7-14 pH), it is not a ideal environment for the micro-organisms to grow in. It also affects the food the soil biota feeds on, as extreme pH can determine the availability of essential plan nutrients. Temperature of soil In general, reaction rates increase when a temperature is hotter. This is also applicable to the rate of decomposition. The explanation for this relates to enzymes; the microbes, fungi and bacteria which are often the decomposers contain many enzymes which help to effectively break down a living being rolling body. If there is a higher temperature, in the instance, in the soil, then the enzymes will make more successful collisions than they would at a lower temperature. This in turn causes them to decompose an object faster. However if a temperature is too high it will cause the enzymes to denature. Meaning the substrate will permanently change the shape and will not fit into the active site. Using the lock and key model we can see how denatured substances can cause less successful collision and a slower rate of decomposition. Moisture of Soil Decomposition is a process which needs oxygen - many micro-organisms are suppressed and cannot effectively decompose......
