Mahal na mahal ko siya. Since sakaniya lang ako tumagal ng 3 taon at 3 buwan, away bati kami noon. Nakipag break siya sakin in person. Deep inside ang sakit non ahh! Awwwwtsssuuuuu. ...Explain the strengths and weaknesses of Natural Law Theory (25 marks) As an absolutist theory, Natural Law is universalisable and proposes objective moral standards. These standards, as they are achieved through reason, are not limited to faith and are not bound by God. This means that the theory is accessible to the non-believer as well. This makes it a more versatile and accessible ethical system. This is a strength as many of the ethical systems including will only work if used by all people and for different reasons theories such as Kant aren’t as versatile meaning this is a more realistic ethical theory for people to use.     Once the Primary Precepts of Preserve Life; Live in Society; Educate the Young; Continue through Reproduction; and Worship God are understood, the theory is very easy to apply and follow.  It is easy to reach conclusions and the theory is quite clear cut in what it believes. However, the theory may come unstuck when one begins picking apart and re-understanding what the precepts mean. This clear cut approach is a strength as the principles are easy to understand and typically would not need to be disputed. One of the flaws of Natural Law theory is the question; do any of the precepts take priority over the others? Does educate the young mean invest in schools? Or encourage independent study? Does preservation of life include abortion and euthanasia? This poses a flaw due to the fact that people will not be sure in terms in conflicts of interested...

Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig

...Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig depicts the life of a poor girl who undergoes several hardships throughout her life and suddenly receives an opportunity to become a professional singer and improve her family’s life. Viewers may come up with one of two insights from watching the movie. First, one may be led to thinking that despite severe suffering and despair, there will always be a happy ending. For this person, the movie seems to reinforce the rags-to-riches archetype. Forget all problems at present; everything will turn out well in the end. “Mapalad ang mga inaapi.” Lupe, portrayed by Sharon Cuneta, has to endure different problems happening all at the same time – “working” as a beggar, living with a mother who doesn’t seem to have any faith in her, being visited by her abusive uncle almost everyday, demanding that they give him money for gambling, even getting impregnated by a man she doesn’t know. Her luck begins to turn around, however, when her talent for singing is discovered at a local singing contest. Things begin to go well for her, despite a few problems with her uncle and the death of her mother, and she ends up engaged to a wealthy man who also happens to offer her a record deal. At the end of the movie, of course, she chooses the man she loves and the father of her child, and they live a fortunate life, thanks to her singing career. Personally, I think that this perspective can be quite problematic, especially when one actually incorporates it in his/her everyday......
