THE PROBLEM AND REVIEW OF THE RELATED LITERATURE
INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study The existence of man in the universe leads to various discoveries and inventions particularly in the field of science and technology. Man continued to explore and depended their studies and their field of specialization so that can be help to their fellow mankind.
With the advancement in movie industry film animation came to existence even in computer games. Film animation applies techniques in cinematography to the graphics and plastic arts in order to give illusion of life and movement to cartoons, drawings, paintings puppets and three-dimensioned of objects.
Film animation started in France and in United States, but later on it reaches up to Asian countries, just like Japan. Japan animation called Anime is very famous in our country today. Manga is what comics are called Japan. This word was coined by artist Hokusai in 1815, translated as irresponsible pictures.
Students really embraced or admire in a form of television, comics and even in computers. Without knowing the outcome of doing it and its effects.

Review of the Related Literature Anime is a Japanese style of animated cartoon, often with violent or sexually explicit content. Anime began at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques also pioneered in France, Germany, the United States, and Russia. The oldest known anime in existence first screened in 1917 – a two-minute clip of a samurai trying to test a new sword on his target, only to suffer defeat. Early pioneers included Shimokawa Oten, Jun'ichi Kouchi, and Seitarō Kitayama.
By the 1930s animation became an alternative format of storytelling to the live-action industry in Japan. But it suffered competition from foreign producers and many animators, such as Noburō Ōfuji and Yasuji Murata still worked in cheaper cutout not cel animation, although with masterful results. Other creators, such as Kenzō Masaoka and Mitsuyo Seo, nonetheless made great strides in animation technique, especially with increasing help from a government using animation in education and propaganda. The first talkie anime was Chikara to Onna no Yo no Naka, produced by Masaoka in 1933. The first feature length animated film was Momotaro's Divine Sea Warriors directed by Seo in 1945 with sponsorship by the Imperial Japanese Navy.
The success of The Walt Disney Company's 1937 feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs influenced Japanese animators.[ In the 1960s, manga artist and animator Osamu Tezuka adapted and simplified many Disney animation-techniques to reduce costs and to limit the number of frames in productions. He intended this as a temporary measure to allow him to produce material on a tight schedule with inexperienced animation-staff.
The 1970s saw a surge of growth in the popularity of manga – many of them later animated.
The work of Osamu Tezuka drew particular attention: he has been called a "legend" and the "god of manga" His work – and that of other pioneers in the field – inspired characteristics and genres that remain fundamental elements of anime today. The giant robot genre (known as "Mecha" outside Japan), for instance, took shape under Tezuka, developed into the Super Robot genre under Go Nagai and others, and was revolutionized at the end of the decade by Yoshiyuki Tomino who developed the Real Robot genre.
Robot anime like the Gundam and The series became instant classics in the 1980s, and the robot genre of anime is still one of the most common in Japan and worldwide today. In the 1980s, anime became more accepted in the mainstream in Japan (although less than manga), and experienced a boom in production. Following a few successful adaptations of anime in overseas markets in the 1980s, anime gained increased acceptance in those markets in the 1990s and even more at the turn of the 21st century.

Conceptual Framework of the Study This study is based on the research of Sanchez, MC. (2012), Students nowadays are very laid back. As said by Sanchez, MC. (2012), “Students may mean studying anywhere from 6 to 10 hours per day, 5 to 6 days per week, for 6 to 10 weeks prior to the exam. This advice is often lost on some students. Relying on tried and true law school study habits, which may have been developed in college, these students do not follow the advice given to them to put in the required amount of time. Instead, they watch anime, which Anime has a great Influence or effects on people especially the students. As reflected from the schematic of the diagram of the study, the independent variables shown in the first box bearing the profile of the participants includes age, gender, year and section. The profile of the participants is considered as independent variables of the study in the sense that it does not affect the intervening and dependent variable. There are things we considered, first, the age of respondents, to be able to differentiate the perception of young and old ones; the gender which determines the number of females and males; the year and section, to know if the fourth year students have the same perception with the other year section.

Study Habits of Fourth Year Students

...comes to art, Anya is highly motivated. We can reasonably draw this conclusion based on her close attention in class, her eagerness to draw whenever she can, and her career goal. Motivation is something that energizes, directs, and sustains behavior; it gets students moving, points them in a particular direction, and keeps them going. We often see students’ motivation reflected in personal investment and in cognitive, emotional, and behavioral engagement in school activities (Fredricks, Blumenfeld, & Paris, 2004; Maehr & Meyer, 2004; Reeve, 2006). Virtually all students are motivated in one way or another. One student may be keenly interested in classroom subject matter and seek out challenging course work, participate actively in class discussions, and earn high marks on assigned projects. Another student may be more concerned with the social side of school, interacting with classmates frequently, attending extracurricular activities almost every day, and perhaps running for a student government office. Still another may be focused on athletics, excelling in physical education classes, playing or watching sports most afternoons and weekends, and faithfully following a physical fitness regimen. Yet another student—perhaps because of an undetected learning disability, a shy temperament, or a seemingly uncoordinated body—may be motivated to avoid academics, social situations, or athletic activities. When Anya comes to school each day, she brings her strong......

Despite the fact that computer and video games gave the same multimedia capability as CAI programs, Begg et. al. (2005) stressed in their study “Game-Informed Learning: Applying Computer Game Processes to Higher Education” that their potential learning impact is often discounted by parents and educators. Recently, computer-based video games presence and popularity have been ever-growing, and game developers and researchers have started to investigate video games impact on students’ cognitive learning. For, example Pillay (2002) commenced a study entitled “Journal of Research on Technology in Education” investigating the influence of recreational computer games on children’s subsequent performance on instructional tasks. While game-playing is regarded somewhat negative in educational settings, particularly for young children, re-scrutinization of its influence in a teaching and learning context is crucial. This study investigated whether computer-based video games facilitate children’s cognitive learning achievement. In comparison to traditional CAI programs, this study explored the impact of the varied types of instructional delivery strategies on children’s learning achievement. Research results from the......

...over morphine is that diacetylmorphine is more fat soluble and therefore more potent (by injection only), so smaller doses of it are needed for the same analgesic effect. Both of these factors are advantageous if giving high doses of opioids via the subcutaneous route, which is often necessary in palliative care. The medical use of diacetylmorphine (in common with other strong opioids such as morphine, fentanyl and oxycodone) is controlled in the United Kingdom by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. In the UK, it is a class A controlled drug. Registers of its use are required to be kept in hospitals. Diacetylmorphine is also used as a maintenance drug to treat addicts. Though this is somewhat controversial among proponents of a zero tolerance drug policy, it has proven superior tomethadone in improving the social and health situation of addicts.[16] See: Heroin prescription for addicts Recreational use Diacetylmorphine, in non-medical settings called heroin, is used as a recreational drug for thetranscendent relaxation and intense euphoria it induces. Anthropologist Michael Agar once described heroin as "the perfect whatever drug."[17] Tolerance quickly develops, and users need more of the drug to achieve the same effects. Its popularity with recreational drug users, compared to morphine, reportedly stems from its perceived different effects.[18] In particular, users report an intense rush, an acute transcendent state of euphoria, that occurs while diacetylmorphine is......
