Dearest Walter,
I’m writing to you today with a cup of tea by my side to let you know that I am safe in London. I do not want to discuss much about myself, likewise what I am doing; I want to discuss how Laura is. After I had the message about my letter being delivered to Laura and her not wanting to respond, I felt I ought to write to you. Hearing nothing after I have sent every one of those letters leaves me in the dark.
I hope Walter, to not patronise you with this letter nevertheless I feel as though I have to get someone to articulate to Laura that I’m well. Her natural sensitiveness makes me hesitate to write to Laura once more. I do hope that she will find enough courage to compose me back a letter as not only does she needs to know I’m adequate; I need her to certify the same. By Laura not replying I hope I have not misunderstood her silence in thinking she is infuriated with me. I miss her writing to me, of her own thoughts and impressions, amid all the wonders she has seen.
I hope you can comprehend my reasoning for leaving you and Laura. I realise it was a selfish act. Walter, as I write this letter to you and my darling sister; I think of Laura sobbing which seems to tear me to pieces. You realise Walter my tears are like mens for they do not flow as easily as they ought.
In the year I spent helping you with your children, and situated by the fire reading stories, I learnt two very knowledgeable pieces of information. Firstly, you and my sister are exceptional parents, you are bringing your children up to be individuals; I mean their certainly one of a kind. Secondly, you have a very balanced marriage. I realise that all marriages should be like this.
Laura doesn’t seem to be bothered by men, an example of which is shown when she married Sir Percival for our father, I never would promise such a high order for my father especially when I know he would not have withheld such a life changing promise for myself or Laura.
Walter I have joined the suffragettes. I’m in London, this time on my own and not with Mrs.Vesey. We believe in equal right for men and women. These women, they believe the same as I, that no man under heaven deserves these sacrifices from women.
I have a voice Walter.
Today I went to a rally. The excitement burst from my body but tell Laura not to worry; we campaigned peacefully, there was no trouble as Mrs Fawcett addressed us to be as quiet as we could possibly be. The women looked mesmerising in their lengthy dresses, the colours of bright white and green shone in the sea of women. The smell of all their bouquet made my nose sniffle with delight. The touch of the wooden plaque almost delivering splinters in your fingers demonstrated meaningful messages. “Women deserve rights!” they marked boldly. I would’ve hoped this could have completed our fight for equality straight away but it hasn’t. There’s a lot of work to do here so with great regret I need to tell you, I’m staying for a while longer.
We both know Walter, that I’m better alone.
I am free by myself.
I am boundless by myself.
I am myself.
I regret not being there for you and Laura; ever so much. After I divulged to you that was leaving I did grasp that Laura would become worried, I know her so well and I realise how upset she must be by the fact I departed. It has been two long lonely months since we saw each other. I will come and visit as soon as I have finished large scaled issues here. Will you let Laura know I am hopeful we won’t be here much longer?
Lastly Walter, I hope you’re well. I want you to send the children my love and my deepest, sincerest apology for not being there at this present moment, if Laura hasn’t done so already. Show no remorse in showing her this letter as after the last letter I sent, I did not get a response.
I hope to hear from you soon, Walter. Take care of yourself and your family.
Sending all my love,
Marian.…...

Creative Tendencies

...I have learned through this chapter that creative problem solving occurs less frequently then analytical problem solving. I have never really considered myself a real creative person, although I have creative my own unique and creative tendencies. As I learned many people think of creativity as being “one-dimensional” (me included) and also many of us have built up conceptual blocks which limits and blocks our problem solving effectiveness. After reading this chapter, I have a greater perspective on creativity and how to achieve it through the four types of creativity – incubation, imagination, improvement, and investment, all in which I can use in a variety of ways to bring out my creative side. On this assessment I had completed in chapter three, I picked out five statements that would indicate creative tendencies and five statements that I would consider not to indicate creative tendencies. Creative tendencies would include: Daydreaming has provided the impetus for many of my more important projects (B). I believe that daydreaming gives you the opportunity to think creatively, it gives you a chance to really dive into your own creative thinking and think outside the box. I like hobbies that involve collecting things (C). I disagreed on this; I’m more of a physical type of person and an active type of person who enjoys watching and playing sports, but I think I need to think of a more creative hobby that I may enjoy. Inspiration has nothing to do with the......

Creative Dance

...CREATIVE DANCE History of Creative Dance Creative dance is perceived differently by different sectors of the education system. In many provinces, creative dance is part of the physical education curriculum. More recently, two provinces— British Columbia and Saskatchewan— have considered placing dance under the rubric of arts education. The aspect of creative dance that is emphasized reflects the position creative dance is assigned in the curriculum. When in the physical education curriculum, creative dance lessons typically focus on development of the motor skills involved, with little concern for the experience’s aesthetic potential. In arts education, the primary focus is creative dance’s aesthetic potential. Advocates view creative dance not only as having potential for developing motor skills or aesthetic sensibility, but as a means to improve students’ self-concept and as a valuable component of an integrated curriculum. Upon closer scrutiny, however, these different ways of justifying creative dance may prove contradictory. “Creative dance” is a particular form of dance. This form is typically taught in elementary schools because unlike other dance forms, it does not require years of training. Basically, creative dance involves the use of movement elements to express thoughts and feelings. Dimondstein (1974) expands on this definition when she considers dance to be “the interpretation of a child’s ideas, feelings, and sensory impressions expressed symbolically in......

Creative Process

...The creative process includes four different steps to function correctly. These steps are as follows, Searching for Challenges, Expressing the Problem or Issue, Investigating the Problem or Issue, and Producing Ideas. Each stage has a certain function in the creative process flow. The first stage of the creative process is Searching for Challenges. It is common with creative thinking is where we as people are meeting challenges in and imaginative, original and effective way. We quite offend feel the need for challenges to be completely throughout. These challenges come in all shapes & forms of obvious issues and problems. Then next you witness your friend a few time with someone else in the lawnmower then you saw he was cutting the whole blocks grass with your mower this could create a riff in your friendship. The second stage of the creative process is Expressing the problem or Issue. This stage allows you to look for the best expression of the issue or problem that is currently happening. Take for instance the most helpful ideas to try to solve the problem or issue that you are experiencing. For example you are traveling and your luggage gets lost in the transport. Creative Thinker

...every one of us; some people choose to use it and other’s put it to the side thinking that they are not smart enough, or don’t have the ability to be creative. Creative thinkers, those that think outside of the box and have the ability to create and get done what needs to get done (freedictionary, 2010), are set apart from all the rest, because they don’t sit back and wait for change, they create change. This is the case of Larry Page, the co-creator of one of the largest and most innovative internet search engine sites, Google. Larry Page wasn’t the type of guy who sat around waiting for something to change, he seen what needed to be done and created change, and came up with innovative ways in creating the largest and most profitable internet based company in the world today. Starting out in his friend’s garage, Larry’s creative thinking led them to come up with innovative ways to make money, such as selling advertisements, and even creating a web based email called Gmail, to allow users to set up email accounts that tailor to their needs and can hold more storage than any other email carrier (San Juan, 2010). The impact that Larry’s creative thinking has had on Google has been tremendous. Starting out from a garage to becoming one of the largest internet companies in the world today proves that living on the idea to be creative and innovate, you will always grow, and that is exactly the motto Larry thrives on day in and day out. Creativity is in everyone, and if we can......

...ugfgfhhjjkk hlklgfgfCreative Toys Case Creative Toys Inc. 1. If Inventory were to be written down in the 4th quarter instead of the 2nd quarter, it could cause the company to be compromised. One of the reasons that the allowance occurs in the 2nd quarter is because Browne realizes that it will make expenses appear too high, but, it will reduce the impact of the lack of future sales. However, if inventory were established in the 4th quarter, where they are expected to increase quite a bit, the transition would be easier. This is the reasoning behind Gurchick’s insistence of waiting for the 4th quarter. On the down side, if sales do not increase as expected, the company would be in substantial trouble. They will have a great deal of over stated income, which will be caught by auditors. They will make adjusting journal entries for this, which will decrease net income. If this decrease is too substantial then the books will be in the negative. Browne understands that the Chatter Chick was over produced, and is prepared to deal with the consequence. Gurchick prefers to take a gamble and hope for the best. 2. The corporate culture at Creative Toys is probably quite tense at this point. With Browne and Gurchick disagreeing over the course of action, the employees at this point are most likely wondering what the outcome of the decrease in demand will be and whether the company will be able to make it through this. I think that everyone is probably quite worried and tense at......

Creative Presentation

...What's great about doing creative presentations is not only that you get to work and mingle with other people but also because you get to learn new stuff as you create and perform the presentation. Another thing great about having creative presentations is its difference from the ordinary and typical classes. In a typical class, the teacher disscusses a certain topic to the students wherein the students are expected to learn from the teacher's discussion. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that technique but we have to take into consideration other students who may not be able to clearly understand some part of the topic due to multiple factors. One could be lack of attention span. Now, in a creative presentation the students themselves get to study the topic on their own and think of a way to share their gaied knowledge with their students. A way that is the student way, in that case all students can relate. Given that all students are able to relate it will give a better chance of students learning even more. Plus, since it is a creative presentation, we need not worry about students with little attention span. I'm not very attentive when it comes to disscussion because I prefer to do things on my own but with our creative presentation, I learned to work in groups well which is to me is a good thing. I believe that to say that a presentation is successful, one does not only need to make the audience understand youe topic but at the same time the performer should be......

Creative Destruction

...Assignment #1 “Creative Destruction” 1) Describe the process of creative destruction in your words An essential feature of capitalism, creative destruction is a continuous process characterized by moments of radical innovation in products, production methods, organizational structures and markets that provide decisive advantages over legacy operations. This disrupts and fundamentally changes established industries, with the resulting efficiencies increasing the productive capacity of the economy. Even during the periods of comparative quiet that separate these rushes of innovation, creative destruction is still active as the results of previous innovations are absorbed and assimilated into the economy. The nature of creative destruction requires that the trajectory of the capitalist system is analyzed over the long run, as opposed to at a single point in time. In summary, creative destruction is the process whereby old economic systems are destroyed and replaced by decisively more efficient structures. 2) Explain how the typical entrepreneur behaves according to Schumpeter. What objective is he following? The typical entrepreneur is the businessman who is disciplined by the constant threat of future competition. He understands the process of creative destruction and the precarious nature of his present position and therefore, regardless of his current competitive landscape, his behavior approximates that of a firm engaged in perfect competition.
