...Exercising while at work and the Health Benefits Unit 6 Project: Should Employers A lot Time to Exercise while at work Mary Jackson Kaplan University CM 220 College Composition II Professor Connie Maker June 25, 2013 Exercising While at work and the Health Benefits Should Employers A lot Time to Exercise while at work As we enter into the work force we are entering into a world of over worked, underappreciated group of people. We tend to become lazy stressed and depressed which can lead to negative impact on both our work and home life. There are studies that show working to much can lead to depression, stress and unhappy employees. Employers need to keep an eye on its employees and come up with a way to help reduce the depression, stress and turning unhappy employees into happy ones. Employees on average spend 8 to 12 hours a day at work; if they are not allotted time to exercise and help to reduce stress, depression then it will lead to unhappy employees. Employees who are happy tend to enjoy coming to work and production is generally up and there is less stress and arguments at work. Lack of exercise can lead to many health issues like diabetes as described by the American diabetes association. So exercising can lead to weight loss and a health body which will in turn help to lower diabetes and blood pressure. We need to get employers involved in a program to help with this on a daily basis. So how do we do this without a huge impact on Employers......

Introduction to Icd-10 Cm/Pcs

...Introduction to ICD-10-CM/PCS The World Health Organization (WHO) is the entity that owns and publishes the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) system (The World Health Organization (WHO), 2013). The United States made modifications to this classification system and in 1979 implemented the use of ICD-9-CM. Since that time healthcare worldwide has evolved and the need to collect more detailed information regarding the diseases and conditions that effect world’s population has become a high priority. Due to this evolution, the ICD-9-CM system has become outdated and can no longer accommodate our needs. Effective October 1, 2014 the United States will implement ICD-10-CM/PCS for use across the nation. Initially we will cover ICD-10-CM and then address ICD-10-PCS. ICD-10-CM is the classification system to be utilized to record diagnoses identified and treated in both the acute care setting as well as the ambulatory setting. There are various differences between ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM and we will highlight several of those differences today. One difference between the two coding classification systems is the number of chapters. ICD-10-CM consists of twenty-one chapters as compared to the seventeen chapters in ICD-9-CM. There are approximately 68,000 diagnostic codes in ICD-10-CM as opposed to the 14,000 in ICD-9-CM (DeVault, Barta, & Endicott, 2012). The length and structure of the codes in ICD-10-CM vary greatly from ICD-9-CM. ......

I look at courage as something that is a must so that when you do cross the threshold you will have the ability to successful in your mission. William Crawford a janitor at West Point Military Academy is such a person, I believe that on the morning of September 13, 1943 Mr. Crawford like anyone else in war was not thinking about courage but was scared for his brother in arms and his own safety. Like most Hero’s Mr. Crawford displayed his courage at the split second he decided to rush the 3 fortified machinegun nests and single handedly saving his entire unit, earning him the Congressional Medal of Honor. When the cadets at West Point discovered that their janitor was the recipient this prestigious award it changed their entire outlook of this very quiet and reserved gentleman. When Col. CM: aka Cognitive Mapping, is a modelling technique to represent a problem space by a series of interconnected casual maps. Purpose SODA enables a group or individual to construct a graphical representation of a problematic situation, and thus explore options and their ramifications with respect to a complex system of goals or objectives. It helps groups to arrive at a negotiated agreement about how to act to resolve the situation based on CM. It tends to generate increasingly rich models, rather than move towards abstraction or simplicity. And it sees strategic management in terms of changing thinking and action rather than planning. Furthermore, it aims to develop high levels of ownership for a problem through the attention paid to problem definition and negotiation. Etc. General steps 1. Planning meetings: Where the project is set up and an initial view of the problem / situation is achieved. At this point it is important to decide who the participants will be and what the outputs will be in order to manage expectations. 2. Cms and the Controversial Preventative Maintenance Mandate

...Kyle Havens BMET 44000 Prof. Rachel Meyer 10/5/2014 Assignment #2 CMS and the Controversial Preventative Maintenance Mandate When I first opened up assignment #2, I noticed the topic was CMS and that was a good thing because I currently work for a medical delivery company that deals with the CMS on a daily basis. This research into their organization would allow me to understand them a little further than what I already know. CMS stand for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services which covers a very large portion of the United States. It covers not only people, but organizations, businesses, etc. Through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program and the Health Insurance Marketplace, it covers approximately 100 million people! (CMS, 2014) The CMS is a federal agency that lies within the Department of Health and Human Services and their main focus is to administer the Medicare program as well as work with state agencies to administer the Medicaid and State Children’s Health Insurance Program. Considering the magnitude of what CMS covers, almost every healthcare facility in the country falls under the CMS wing if they accept Medicare or Medicaid as a payment for their services. Because of this, CMS has the “right” to pass any mandate o requirements as they see fit. Because the CMS is responsible for over 100 million people’s Medicare, Medicaid, etc. accounts, they can provide mandates and memos to various departments within healthcare......

The code tells the web browser how to display a Web page’s words and images. Each individual code is referred to as an element or a tag. Some elements come in pairs that indicate when some display effect is to begin and when it’s to end. Unlike CMS, HTML coding can take a while to learn and master. Both HTML/CSS and CMS are methods to create websites on the World Wide Web, and load them with content that could be text, images, videos, etc. The big difference between the two methods is the amount of control you have over the creation of the website.
