There are many challenges that might arise when writing an academic paper. One of them is writers block. This is when a writer loses the ability to continue working on a paper. Writers block can last for five minutes, or five hours. Writers block happens to me all of the time when I am writing a paper. This is also common in many college students. Another problem that may arise is not enough time to finish or write a paper. This can happen when trying to juggle a hectic lifestyle. Working more than one job, taking care of children, and managing a relationship can take up most of your time. Making sure work is done on time is priority. Distractions are another problem that may occur when writing. There are many kinds of distractions, sound, and visual. Children are my number one interference when I am writing or doing school work. The TV and radio are also distractions that may make me lose focus on an assignment. Distractions are a big problem in my house, but I try to avoid them as much as possible. These are a few problems that may occur when writing a paper for school.

Where ever there is a challenge there is a way to overcome them. When I have writers block I take a break to clear my mind. Taking a walk or listening to some soft music helps to relieve the stress. Brainstorming is another thing that I do to get new ideas in my head to write about. After clearing my mind I can get back to writing my paper. Time management is a way to make sure that everything gets done on time. Mapping out time to study and do assignments is part of this. Determining what needs to be done and when, is good time management. When distractions arise in my home, I try to distance myself from them by going into another room to do work or taking a break for a while. This does not work for me all of the time. Most of the time I do my work when everyone in the house is away or sleep.…...

...and Informal Information Systems Recently, a lot of interest is being in formal, organizational computer-based information systems. Formal systems rest on accepted and fixed definitions of data and procedures for collecting, storing, processing, disseminating, and using these data. The formal systems are structured; that is, they operate in conformity with predefined rules that are relatively fixed and not easily changed. 46 Management Information Systems 2010/2011 Lecture … (5) Informal information systems rely, by contrast, on unstated rules of behavior. There is no agreement on what is information or on how it will be stored and processed. Formal information systems can be either computer based or manual. Manual systems use paper-and-pencil technology. These manual systems serve important needs, but they too are not the subject of this text. Computer-based information systems (CBIS), in contrast, rely on computer hardware and software technology to process and disseminate information. From this point on, when we use the term information systems, we are referring to computerbased information systems—formal organizational systems that rely on computer technology. Although computer-based information systems use computer technology to process raw data into meaningful information, there is a sharp distinction between a computer and a computer program on the one hand, and an information system on the other. Electronic computers and related software programs are the......

Challenge

...Learning a language that is not your native one is a challenge. This challenge is doubled when you are learning it from a adviser who is also a non-native speaker of the language that you are trying to learn. The afore cited challenge comes from the fact that both the teacher and the student think in their native language, then mentally make translations of their thoughts and try to communicate to each other in a language which is alien to them. That language is English in this particular instance. On the other hand ,there is also that challenge of enhancing ones speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English. Speaking is the skill or ability to communicate in English orally; listening is the skill or ability to process the information received; reading is the skill or ability to place and derive meaning from the printed page; writing is a skill of putting one's ideas on paper. Mastery or achieving facility in all the aforementioned aspect of the English language is challenging indeed. It requires practice. Lots and lots of practice. In addition, it also requires dedication and effort. One has to work hard to learn anything. The same is true in learning a second language. There are approaches or means of learning English as a second language. The first approach is by knowing that learning English or any second language, for that matter, consists more of the acquisition of a set of habits, rather than an intellectual mastery of the technical aspect of English......

In the country, where I live, homenade moonshine and wine, was made. Mostly everyone, in the country, made homeade liquor. Being that everyone made liquor an sold it, allowed me to have easy access to it. I started out drinking the wine, but eventually I developed a liking, for the moonshine. By the age of 15, I was downing the moon shine every chance I could. I pretty much drank until I would black out. That didn’t stop me from drinking. However, I started a routine of drinking heavily every night, but I was able to keep my parents in the dark about it. I would make arrangements to stay at people houses, in order to avoid my parents. I knew if they found out about my drinking, it would be a big fuss. I always thought that drinking made me more sociable, but instead, it made me foolish and irresponsible. How I ended up in the hospital, was because I accidently shot myself in the foot. It is remarkable how unaware addiction catches you. It is......

...Trends and Challenges Paper Team Member’s name MGT 431 date Teacher Trends and Challenges Paper In the world of business the use of performance management systems or annual performance appraisals is one that is viewed differently by each organization and management team. Although these two methods have some of the same characteristics, they also contrast in many ways. Performance appraisals can be an effective tool for organizations but along with many business techniques can be problematic. Addressing Challenges of Groups and Teams Paper

...Addressing Challenges of Groups and Teams Paper Training can provide unique opportunities for organizations to prevent fraud and improve ethical practices among employees. Training can help to educate, raise awareness, and increase short and long-term company profits. WorldCom was a classic example of failed corporate governance, accounting abuses, and plain greed that could have been prevented through appropriate management and employee training. This paper will provide an example of a training plan that could have helped prevent the demise of WorldCom. Developing a Training Plan To increase the effectiveness of employees toward the achievement of business goals, it is essential to put a training plan in place that will enhance communication, group collaboration, and conflict management. Negotiation Challenges and Objective Paper

...Negotiation Challenges and Objective Paper The negotiation challenge I currently faced was my contract renewal last month. I am the youngest pharmacist in the hospital I am working in and I enjoy working there as I have a very good relationship with my colleagues and my boss, who was the obstetrician who helped deliver me to this world. Moreover, I live very close to the hospital, just one street away from it, so it would be ideal for me to continue my career at this hospital. Things were all good until last month, which was the last month before my contract ended, I still had not been asked to negotiate the contract renewal and I started to feel unsettled. So I started to get my resume out to the market and got myself a job offer from another hospital, with a 50% increase in salary, though a lot far away from the hospital I was in. After getting this offer, I heard from my colleague who was in the management team of the pharmacy department that my boss was going to offer me a contract with 20% increase in salary. In no surprise, my boss invited me to have a meeting with him to talk about my contract renewal that day. Since I was at the stage of considering marriage with my girlfriend who had been with me for 6 years, I needed the money to buy a flat for us so my goal was to get a 50% increase in salary at the hospital I was working in. After greeting and stating the purpose of this meeting was to negotiate the contract renewal, we discussed about how the hospital could......

...least 200 words identifying three challenges that might arise when writing a paper. Write a second paragraph of at least 200 words explaining the strategies you will use to overcome those challenges. Some people may face many challenges that may arise when writing a paper. Three challenges I believe a writer may face are writing anxiety, not knowing where to begin, and making your writing flow. Many people may face writers anxiety. I personally have this issue. This challenges may occur when a writer is adjusting to a new form of writing, limited time, or dealing with stresses at home, not related to school. Not knowing where to begin when writing is another challenge. After he or she gathers sources, the challenge may arise on where to begin on their paper. Some begin with the introduction, others may begin with a conclusion. I believe it all depends on the topic. Sometimes certain topics will be easy to gather, and organize to begin a well written paper. Others however, may be a task. Last, a challenge may be making your writing flow. A writer may lose focus on specific area’s such as attention and detail. This problem can occur from no organization between the sentences or the paragraphs. No organization, or flow may lose the attention of your readers, causing your work to be boring and or confusing. Facing these challenges, I would consider some time and effort. There are way’s to overcome the challenges we face when writing.......

Challenges of a Paper

...Challenges of a Paper When writing a paper there will be many challenges to face; for most people the first challenge would be arriving at a starting point. The fear of putting pen to paper is probably the most difficult. Choosing a subject in itself scary, but if the subject is assigned, or several choices given will elevate that decision . Once the topic has been chosen, there is still the challenge of what to write. One strategy mentioned in the, Adult Basic Education and Literacy Journal, is to create a graphic organizer (Beverstock, McIntyre 2008). This tool was found to be most useful in overcoming the insecurity most people have when required to write their thoughts. When the ideas have started to flow, create an outline of the issues what will be discussed. In the video, Writing Process, the narrator suggested that creating an outline will help with yet another challenge, procrastination (“ University of Phoenix” Library). The narrator in the same video suggested scheduling a certain amount of time daily to devote to writing. He also suggested keeping a note pad and pencil on the bedside table, and carry one on your person so thoughts can be written down as soon as possible. Although it was suggested that the use a graphic organizer will help with ideas for a paper, this strategy does not work for me. I am dyslexic, that circle with all the lines extending outward is very confusing. I have found using an outline is easier for organizing thoughts, and......
