1: Hvad betyder teorien om ”Rational Choice”?
Teorien bygger på rationelle valg, ønsket om at maksimere magten. Politik er ligesom et marked. Partiener sælger deres synspunkter og prøver at ramme bredest for at vinde flest vælgere. For at få magten

5: Læs denne artikel: http://politik.tv2.dk/2015-01-30-danskerne-vil-have-dansk-folkeparti-i-regering#LV (Danskerne vil have Dansk Folkeparti i regering, Tv2.dk, 30. januar 2015).
Policy seeking * Liberal Alliance * Enhedslisten
Office seeking * Venstre * Socialdemokraterne
Vote seeking * DF * De fleste partier

For eksempel terror

Radikale får stryg fra egne rækker over terrorudspil

...and attract more fighters. The group is a direct offshoot of Al Qaeda in Iraq, Iraqi officials and former Iraqi insurgents say, which has contributed veteran fighters and weapons. “This is just a simple way of returning the favor to our Syrian brothers that fought with us on the lands of Iraq,” said a veteran of Al Qaeda in Iraq, who said he helped lead the Nusra Front’s efforts in Syria. The United States, sensing that time may be running out for Syria’s president, Bashar al-Assad, hopes to isolate the group to prevent it from inheriting Syria or fighting on after Mr. Assad’s fall to pursue its goal of an Islamic state. As the United States pushes the Syrian opposition to organize a viable alternative government, it plans to blacklist the Nusra Front as a terrorist organization, making it illegal for Americans to have financial dealings with the group and most likely prompting similar sanctions from Europe. The hope is to remove one of the biggest obstacles to increasing Western support for the rebellion: the fear that money and arms could flow to a jihadi group that could further destabilize Syria and harm Western interests. When rebel commanders met Friday in Turkey to form a unified command structure at the behest of the United States and its allies, jihadi groups were not invited. The Nusra Front’s ally, Al Qaeda in Iraq, is the Sunni insurgent group that killed numerous American troops in Iraq and sowed widespread sectarian strife with suicide bombings......

Sex Offenders

...to a hamster that we have an obligation to keep these people in quarantine. To release them, tell people where they live, and then tell them to stay away from parks and playgrounds sounds to me like the worst of all possible worlds. The idea is not to torment these people and make them pariahs. You don’t have to be Freud to know that is likely to increase their potential for psychopathic behavior. I have no sympathy for anyone who would harm a child. However, we need to develop practical solutions. Law enforcement personnel may need a list of the most serious types of sex offenders. I don’t have a problem with that. But I think the courts should rule that public dissemination of any kind of blacklist is unconstitutional on privacy grounds. We’ve had blacklists before in this country, political, racial and ethnic ones. They did great harm. And one thing is certain about such lists. Sooner or later, one of the names on it may be you...

Discuss a Brand New Tv Show from This Past Television Season, and Why It Was Successful or Not.

...“The Blacklist” In season full of mediocre (or worse) new shows, NBC's The Blacklist has been a nice surprise. When I saw the pilot, I thought it had no business being as rock-solid as it was, but I wrote off the show's long-term prospects because I didn't think James Spader was enough to carry the show on a weekly basis, and the ongoing story about Red and Elizabeth seemed pretty obvious. However, after catching up on the series this past weekend and watching Monday's "General Ludd," I realized that I was only partially correct. Spader is mostly up to the challenge as The Blacklist's centerpiece, and the ongoing story is pretty obvious, but the show has done quite a bit of legwork to keep it compelling in the first eight weeks. Although it's likely that the plum post-Voice time period gives The Blacklist most of its ratings juice, I'm no longer shocked that it's the season's biggest hit. Here's why. 1. A good balance of procedural stories and ongoing mysteries I've had a few discussions with friends lately about what it means to be a broadcast drama in 2013. One of the takeaways has been that, more often than not, when people think of a broadcast drama, they tend to focus on shows that are almost exclusively procedural, relegating the obviously "great" examples like The Good Wife or Scandal to a small group of outliers that are more often compared to "great" cable shows. And while I love the kind of intense serialized stories those series can tell, shows like The......

Taking on Mccathyism

...Taking on McCarthyism: Hollywood’s Response to the Blacklist Instructors name Date Taking on McCarthyism: Hollywood’s Response to the Blacklist Following the communist scare of the 1950s the House of un-American Activities (HUAC) was established and it made a blacklist of movie actors, screen writers and directors who they considered as allied to the communists party. The most prominent of these was the ‘Hollywood ten’ who refused cooperation. This paper will critically examine the black list and the response of Hollywood to the list and to Senator McCarthy who was a significant figure in the movement. This paper will focus on the response of artists who made films that addressed this imposition, scrutiny, and show that Hollywood did not stand for this opposition. McCarthyism is an act of making ungrounded accusations that touch on issues of treason and disloyalty a term that was derived from the name of Senator Joseph McCarthy during the 1950s when there was a communism scare. He chaired several committees that were involved in the accusations against different people who were suspected of being communists. The term was derived from his obsession with communists although he had nothing to do with the Hollywood arrests (Humphries, 3). During this period, movie directors and screenwriters used to get subpoenaed to attend hearings where they would be required to defend their position and involvement in the American communist party. Many of these directors lost their...

...material from overseas. A Government-controlled blacklist comprised of websites with content which is “refused classification”. The Electronic Frontier of Australia states that they do not argue the value of helping parents protect their children, however there are already tools available which parents can make use of to further protect their children without being at the expense of others . The fact that the government was to administer the scheme and the blacklist raises concerns as to whether our government would be transparent in the filtering of content, and not use the filter to block political views. It is alarming that Australia would be joining a list of countries where the government was able to control what its citizens’ accessibility to online sites. Critics had several concerns with this scheme, one being that with the details being scarce, they said that it is hard to imagine a mechanism by which a government agency could administer Internet content regulation in a transparent, efficient and timely manner, especially when the list is a secret one. Despite this, the Government admits, it will be possible for any motivated user to circumvent the filter if desired. The filter is deemed ineffective due to the sheer size of the internet itself. The internet consists of billions of website, updating the list with the ever changing websites with new ones appearing would have been impossible. Additionally, the actual blacklist is so small that it would have no effect as......

...in the ‘Blacklist’. This is an important and indispensable stage of assessment procedures. Blacklist is a giant file combines information of thousands of customers who had prehistoric bad debts or fraud with their borrowing towards banking institutions. ANZ itself has a department called Fraud Investigation where staffs directly do the update on the Blacklist. Information in Blacklist comes from ANZ’s customers and other banks’ as well, composes of names, ID of individual customers and corporate customers plus the status and level of fraud/bad debts. Blacklist is shared through the bank’s map network, thus, basically all staffs from Credit Assessment are enabled to do the searching within it. Besides, only certain specific staffs who are authorized to edit Blacklist (for example, staffs from Fraud Investigation) can make the change upon the file, hence, Blacklist is secured against undesirable modification. It is frequent that applications are declined after their customers are figured out to be listed in the Blacklist, meaning these customers are obviously unqualified to make loan with ANZ, following ANZ policies. A portion of the diverse manifestations of typical rebellion utilized included blacklists, as actually rehearsed by the Montgomery Transport Blacklist (1955-1956) in Alabama; "sit-ins," as showed by the powerful Greensboro sit-in North Carolina; and dissent walks, as displayed by the Selma to Montgomery walks in Alabama. In Montgomery, then again, the Montgomery Change Affiliation (MIA) was birthed to lead the blacklist, and the MIA figured out how to keep the exertion trying for a year, until a government court-request obliged the city to integrate its open transports. The triumph in Montgomery pushed Dr. Lord to broadly known, illuminator status and activated ensuing transport blacklists, for example, the profoundly fruitful Tallahassee, Florida blacklist of 1956. Mccarthyism and the Red Scares Impact on the Media in the 50s/60s

...promotion of fear in the media. The eventual rise of McCarthy and his tactics were later coined into the term now recognized as McCarthyism, which was simply the promotion of Anti-Communism through fear tactics. One of the most famous acts McCarthy had a hand in was the blacklisting and trials of hundred of Hollywood and Broadway actors that he suspected were communists. In 1951, McCarthy as the head of the House Committee on Un-American Activities released a Hollywood blacklist of more than 300 actors, directors, writers. This blacklist made it nearly impossible for these actors to find work but it nearly crippled the entertainment industry at the time since any person who was associated with that person or had performed with a blacklisted artist in the past was added to the list, which while not completely prohibiting them, made it extremely hard for actors to find work during this time. It became so difficult that the odds of an actor finding a job dropped 13% if a previous associate was placed on the blacklist (Christy Schroeder). Even though the blacklisting of celebrities was a fairly common practice during the McCarthyist era of the film industry, films were still produced on a regular basis. These films however always carried a common theme, promoting the american ideals of democracy, or somehow promoting the fear of communism. These would likely be enforced by producers approved by McCarthyist critics or surveyors. This shift toward Anti-Communist films, was......

...the public’s attention. The cyberattack was traced back to a group that called itself #GOP or the Guardians of Peace. This group of hackers is supposedly from North Korea which does not makes this situation any better. There were a number of things Sony was worried about be accessed, such as unreleased movies, employee information, customer information, and other sensitive material. The first step of this hacking process involved GOP illegally acquiring a valid digital certificate from Sony. After gaining access to the company from this certificate, GOP was then able to release a malicious software called Destover, which sneaks into the systems and takes over, giving access to the data. After that Sony’s next move was to immediately blacklist that copy of the digital certificate, so if it were to be used again it would be flagged as malware and not allowed passed the other security measures. While Sony has currently curbed the cyberattacks there is no way for them to get back the hundreds of terabytes of data already stolen. What happened next was devastating for Sony Pictures. There were a number of unreleased films leaked such as, Annie, Fury, Mr. Turner and Still Alice. Employee salaries, company passwords, other sensitive information, and IT related information. This was an under estimate of what was going to happen based on the threatening messages GOP sent some of Sony’s employees. ...and against introducing further restrictions: Arguments against blacklist of non-audit services Traditionally, qualifications and experiences in all these areas facilitates audit work and the provision of these services enables the auditor to build up their knowledge about the business, understanding the dynamics of a business from an exterior point of view; forming an independent opinion to their clients when their business seems to appear unmanageable. This will have an positive effect on the Audit as it will be more efficient in relation to the auditors understanding of the business, rather than an another provider offering their service which they can be unfamiliar to the business compared to an auditor. (Eilifsen, A. 2010). Having to obtain a non-audit service from another provider rather than the auditor will have an increased cost of the audited entity if they had to obtain knowledge from another provider rather than the auditor who already has the entity possessed. If this procedure is to be taken out, other providers may have a lack of familiarity of the entity depending of the nature of the entity, which can result into a lower quality of non-audit service provided by the other provider rather than the auditor. ...Very Short Song * A Dream Lies Dead * "Star Light, Star Bright--" * A Certain Lady * Résumé * A Fairly Sad Tale * Afternoon * August Dorothy Parker was an American poet, short story writer, critic and satirist, best known for her wit, wisecracks, and eye for 20th-century urban foibles. From a conflicted and unhappy childhood, Parker rose to acclaim, both for her literary output in such venues as The New Yorker and as a founding member of the Algonquin Round Table. Following the breakup of the circle, Parker traveled to Hollywood to pursue screenwriting. Her successes there, including two Academy Award nominations, were curtailed as her involvement in left-wing politics led to a place on the Hollywood blacklist. 1920: Parker's caustic wit as a critic initially proved popular, but she was eventually terminated by Vanity Fair in 1920 after her criticisms began to offend powerful producers too often. 1925: When Harold Ross founded The New Yorker in 1925, Parker and Benchley were part of a "board of editors" established by Ross to allay concerns of his investors. 1934: In 1934, she married Alan Campbell, an actor with aspirations to become a screenwriter. 1936: At the behest of Otto Katz, a covert Soviet Comintern agent and operative of German Communist Party agent Willi Muenzenberg, Parker helped to found the Hollywood Anti-Nazi League in 1936 (which was suspected by the FBI of being a Communist Party front). 1941: She wrote additional......
