...Service: In here the users can get as many soft wares as they need during the rental period and need not install but can run on their own terminals. Cloud Business Intelligence 4 The advantage of cloud computing is without installing all the need items you can use them by renting. Cloud Business Intelligence: Cloud BI represents a way for reporting and analysis solutions to be developed, installed, and consumed more easily due to its lower cost and easier deployment. Ideally, a cloud-based business intelligence platform makes use of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), complements and extends today's platform-asa-service (PAAS), utilizes an on-demand, virtualized, elastic software and hardware environment, and delivers application-level functionality as a service (commonly referred to as software-as-a-service). Additionally, a business intelligence tool should easily deploy and even migrate from on-premise to the cloud (and back), providing a new kind of Web-based flexibility that accompanies the most modern platform architecture. Typically, a cloud-based BI platform is used to solve one of three primary customer needs: 1. As a horizontal BI tool to deliver standalone, internally facing reporting and analysis applications -- probably using a traditional relational database (or data mart) as the primary source data system. 2. As an application framework or pre-built reporting and analysis template for systems integrators to use for assembling......

Millions of dollars were donated in order to create an upper class academic medical center that was known not only for the quality of its research and teaching but also for the quality of its care. As time went on capitalism showed its face by driving the local Boston hospital’s to want more market share in their geographic locations. A Dean of Harvard Business School by the name of John McArthur organized a session in which he proposed the Brigham Hospital merge with the Massachusetts General Hospital to create a new organization called Partners Healthcare System. None of the surrounding hospitals in the area were notified when the decision to go ahead with the plan was made. Not only was the merger established because of the growth of market share but the organization would be able to capture a bigger portion of the market and therefore have a greater influence on the insurance companies and the other payers. Negotiating insurance contracts is a very important asset and strategy to the success of the hospital financially. When word broke of the merger other local hospitals felt a need to respond by finding new partners themselves to obtain leverage on the insurance companies as well gain market share. What management, organization, and technology factors are responsible for the difficulties in building electronic medical record systems? Explain your answer. There is no standard for EMR systems, people in hospitals need to change the way they work. Besides, building a new record keeping system can cost a lot, and it is more difficult to make it functional. 3. What is the business, political, and social impact of not digitizing medical records (for individual physicians, hospitals, insurers, patients, and the U.S. government)? Many smaller medical practices are finding it difficult to afford the costs and time commitment to upgrading their record keeping systems. EMR systems cost a lot from individual physicians and hospitals. Although stimulus money should eventually be enough to cover that cost, only a small amount of it is available up front. Small providers are less likely to have done any preparatory work digitizing their records compared to their larger counterparts. Implementing an EMR system also requires physicians and other health care workers to change the way they work. It will cost a lot to train them. 4.......

Its mission is to help central banks become more stable, to act as banks for those 60 central banks, and to also foster international cooperation in monetary and financial stability.
